The Parent Network would like to invite you to attend the meeting on “Understanding Anxiety Related to Remote and Hybrid Learning” on Wednesday Sep 16th @ 7pm. This is the second in a set of three speaking events for the month of September related to COVID-19, Mental Health and your teen.
This presentation will provide an overview of anxiety and how it may manifest in teens amidst COVID given the impact on their social and academic environments. We will highlight the differences between normal anxiety and clinically relevant anxiety as well as provide parents with strategies for helping their children adapt to change and tolerate uncertainty. Strategies include open communication, active coping skills, facing fears, and behavioral activation.
The meeting will be held virtually, and no registration is required. The GoogleMeets link is also included. Please join us! All parents and students are invited to attend!
