Make A Difference Q1 Nominations Due Friday, 10/2

Nominate a deserving staff who has made a difference at Hinsdale Central! Many teachers and staff members go above and beyond to engage students or provide extra support to others in our Red Devil community. They teach classes, advise clubs, coach teams, and provide services that “make a difference” at our school. If you know of a teacher or staff member whose dedication or kindness has had a positive and lasting impact on you or a student, nominate them.  When describing why this individual deserves the award, please BE AS SPECIFIC AS POSSIBLE. Although applications must be signed, those who submit nominations will remain anonymous.  

ANYONE can nominate them for a Make A Difference Award by completing the form HERE.

The PTO surprises six recipients with a Make A Difference Award each quarter. The award includes a personalized certificate of recognition and $100 gift card presented by the PTO and Principal Walsh. Nominations received by this Friday, October 2nd, will be considered for the FIRST quarter awards. 

NOTE: Those nominated who have not received an award within the past 8 quarters are eligible for this current quarter.  You can view a list of past Make A Difference recipients HERE.

Volunteers Needed for Staff Appreciation Fall Luncheon on 10/6!

The Hinsdale Central PTO is excited to welcome our wonderful teachers and staff to our Back to School Fall Luncheon on Tuesday, October 6th. They will enjoy a delicious lunch as we celebrate and thank our HC faculty for everything they do for our students and HC community.

The staff appreciation committee is looking for volunteers to donate fruit trays, cookies, flowers, and your time to serve! Please sign up HERE.

An Interest meeting will be held for the Holiday Bash at the Hinsdale Public Library this Thursday, October 1st at 1pm in the Community Room. All are welcome to attend! It's a wonderful way to meet new people!

With a 5-step protocol, you’ll learn how to retrain your children’s brains so they naturally seek out activities and foods that bring gratification and true joy. The healthy option becomes the default in your home.
