Dear Central Parents,
At our last PTO meeting, a long-time and extremely dedicated committee chair shared a heartfelt, personal story about what being a PTO volunteer meant to her. Her story focused on how her involvement made her understand and navigate the vast high school environment better, fostered a more empathetic relationship with her child while creating collaborative relationships with the school and other parents.

HHS’ Junior Board’s annual Arf Gallery is back and better than ever! For this event, we have invited local artists of all ages to donate animal themed artwork to our gallery. Donated artwork will be displayed and up for sale on May 12th from 7:00 – 8:30pm and all proceeds will go to helping our adoptable animals. The night will also include a raffle for a family pack of 6 day passes to Brookfield Zoo (including specialty exhibits). Come support artists of all ages and our furry friends! It will be a magnificent night that you won’t want to miss.

All artwork purchased online will be available for pickup at Hinsdale Humane Society on May 22nd from 3:00 – 7:00pm!

After Prom, celebrate under the stars on the Odyssey Cruise Ship, which will be waiting exclusively for you and your classmates. You will set sail from Navy Pier for an exciting two-hour midnight skyline “cruise to remember.”
Includes light fare, DJ & karaoke entertainment, dancing and a photo booth! After the post Prom cruise, buses will depart from Navy Pier and arrive at Hinsdale Central around 3:30 am.
Note: On Prom night, please bring a photo ID in order to board the boat.

If you pre-ordered a “Celebrate the Class of 2023” yard sign from Boosters it will be available for pickup this Friday, April 21st from 3-5 pm by the Grant Street entrance. If you did not pre-order a sign there will be a limited number of signs available for purchase on this link or cash and carry on the pick-up day. The cost has increased to $25. Congratulations to the Class of 2023!
