Profits from all sales will benefit the Boosters grant fund which allows them to support students in the arts, activities and athletics at Hinsdale Central. Red Devil Spirit Scholarship

The Hinsdale Central PTO will award $10,000 worth of scholarships to selected graduating seniors to help them meet the expenses of their first year of college.  Depending on the number of qualified applicants, the PTO will award $1000 and/or $2000 scholarships to up to 10 individuals.
Candidates will be chosen based on financial need, involvement at HCHS and a typed 400-600 word personal statement describing what they love about being a Red Devil, what Red Devil characteristics they will bring with them to their college experience and how they will do so.
Applicants are not restricted as to the school they choose to attend, nor is there a minimum GPA requirement.  All applicants must be enrolled full time at the school of their choice to receive the scholarship.
Applications can be found in the Guidance office, as well as at this link.
 
The application deadline is Monday, March 15th and winners will be announced at the Senior Scholarship ceremony on May 17th.  Good luck!

Thank you once again to Superintendent Prentiss, Principal Wash and Assistant Principals Hurt and Maita for attending last week’s PTO meeting.  For those who were not able to attend – topics discussed included an update on COVID-19 and vaccine availability, 2021-22 school year registration, curriculum changes, AP testing, and graduation.  A recording is available here.
