The Parent List is Urgently in Need of Reviews

Sujit MenonNews

Please help us keep this community-based resource updated during a time when our children’s well-being is crucial. Leaving an anonymous review takes less than five minutes. We value your time and support!

Much like Angie’s List, The Parent List relies on consumer feedback. New reviews are needed to keep the list current, as many reviews have been removed due to longevity.

The Parent List contains first-hand insight from D86, D181 and D63 parents about providers that helped address their child’s anxiety, depression, school avoidance, eating disorders, insomnia, peer relations, grief, stress, ADD/ADHD, autism spectrum, and more.

Doctors, therapists, support groups, inpatient and outpatient programs, tutors, in- and out-patient programs, nutritionists, books and holistic medical approaches may all be reviewed on The Parent List. Your help is deeply appreciated!

In no way does the Hinsdale Central PTO, Hinsdale Central High School staff, school districts 86, 63 or 181 endorse or recommend any specific provider reviewed on The Parent List. The Parent List is a subjective forum set up by the Hinsdale Central PTO for your convenience. Parents and guardians are solely responsible for deciding to use any of the service providers on The Parent List in any capacity, and district 86, district 63, district 181 and the Hinsdale Central PTO disclaim all liability for any damages, injuries, losses, expenses, or claims of any kind arising out of the provision of services by anyone or any agency appearing on The Parent List.

LEAP Into Africa Heirloom Tomato and Plant Sale Fundraiser

News

Hinsdale Central’s LEAP into Africa club is hosting their annual tomato plant fundraiser! Along with Tom and Judy Casten, students have worked tirelessly to plant and prepare tomato and other plants for purchase. All proceeds will go to support students at the LEAP schools in South Africa. The Casten’s garden is home to 22 different tomato varieties as well as many pepper and herb plants.

To place an order, please fill out this order form. We are accepting payment by credit card via the form. Plants will be available for pickup from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on May 15 – May 16 at the Casten’s home at 8 E. Third Street in Hinsdale (across from Hinsdale Middle School). Not a gardener? Please spread the word to your friends, family, and neighbors. The order form also details how to make donations in addition to or in lieu of a plant purchase. Truly, any amount helps and will be appreciated by our South African friends who have been through a lot during this unprecedented time. Questions can be directed to Judy Casten at judith.casten@gmail.com or Heather Ferhman at hfehrman@hinsdale86.org.
