PTO Volunteers Still Needed!

Denys KangNews

The PTO is a fun and easy way to get involved, meet new people, and staff! Any of these positions are perfect for first-year families or those familiar with Hinsdale Central!

Committee Chairs:

  • Are you an advocate for student mental health? Help manage the Parent List, an Angie’s type list with Parent recommendations for various mental health resources. You’ll train under the current chairs in the 24-25 school year and then take over in 2025. The time commitment averages about an hour a month. For more information, contact Tara & Alisa at [email protected]
  • Post Prom: A Hinsdale Central tradition for students to continue celebrating Senior Prom on an Odessey Cruise. The Hinsdale Police Department attributes this to be the single most impactful event in keeping students safe after Prom and has continuously decreased student incidents. The contract and date are finalized and fundraising support is in place. Ideally, we are looking for two parents to help coordinate the logistics with support from Hinsdale Central staff. For more information, contact [email protected] or hcpto.org/volunteer-form/

Exec Board: Co-VPs and Secretary (time commitment is approximately 1-3 hours per month, including bi-monthly PTO meetings, and Exec Board meetings on the alternating month.) Contact [email protected] for more information.
