Q4 Make A Difference Nomination Deadline is Friday, May 13th

At Hinsdale Central, many teachers and staff members go above and beyond to engage students or provide extra support to others in our Red Devil community. They teach classes, advise clubs, coach teams, and provide services that “make a difference” at our school. If you know of a teacher or staff member whose dedication or kindness has had a positive and lasting impact on you or your student, please nominate them for a Make A Difference Award by completing the form found here.

Anyone can make a nomination. Students will also receive this information directly via their school email. The PTO presents six Make A Difference Awards each quarter. The awards include our thanks with a personalized certificate and a $50 gift card.

Staff Appreciation Donations Needed for Breakfasts

We need your help to make Staff Appreciation Week a huge success.  We are serving a continental breakfast every day May 2nd-May 6th. If you can help by contributing some items from the sign up genius list, then we can show the staff how much they mean to our community.  All items need to be dropped off at the address listed on the sign up genius.  If you have any questions please email appreciate@hcpto.org.  Thank you in advance for your help!

Please join us for the last PTO meeting of 2021-2022. The meeting is 5/25 at 9am (location TBD). This replaces the meeting originally scheduled for 5/11.

The agenda includes an update from Principal Walsh and PTO President Mary Blue Henneman.

8th Grade Parent Welcome Event

Welcome to the Parents of the Class of 2026!

HINSDALE CENTRAL PTO cordially invites you to attend our 8TH GRADE PARENT WELCOME EVENT on Thursday May 5th at 9am.  Please join us for a presentation from Principal Walsh and the Leadership Team at Hinsdale Central High School.  This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about the many ways you and your child can get involved during their time at Hinsdale Central.  After the presentation there will be a tour of the school.  You will also be able to purchase RED DEVIL SPIRIT WEAR!There is limited parking in the 55th Street Circle Drive and on 57th Street. Enter the high school through the main entrance off 55th Street.  Bring a state issued ID to check in.  You will be directed to the Student Commons Area for the program.  WE LOOK FORWARD TO MEETING YOU!

Last Chance for Graduation Seat & Parking Raffle

This is the last week to purchase a chance to win 5 reserved seats and a VIP parking spot for Graduation on Thursday, May 26th. Raffle tickets are $25 each or five for $100 and the deadline to purchase is Saturday, April 30th. Four families will be selected!

The money raised supports Boosters grant fund which has donated over $600K back to the students at HC over the last 8 years. Support Boosters and save yourself the hassle of arriving hours ahead to secure good seats. Winners will be notified by email on May 5th. Good luck!
