At our last PTO meeting, a long-time and extremely dedicated committee chair shared a heartfelt, personal story about what being a PTO volunteer meant to her. Her story focused on how her involvement made her understand and navigate the vast high school environment better, fostered a more empathetic relationship with her child while creating collaborative relationships with the school and other parents.
