She was able to diagnose and use a genetic test to find the right ADHD med for my child. She didn't "milk" us for multiple office visits. My child also has anxiety and social problems that Dr. Gutierrez also quickly noted and gives her coping skills. She talks to me afterward and makes me realize that as frustrated as I get with the ADHD, my child can still be a successful, happy person. Our lives changed greatly with the ADHD meds, after years of talk therapy thinking this was all an anxiety issue.

She performed a comprehensive evaluation on 2 of my middle school children. One had ADHD, one did not. She was wonderful to work with, and it was much quicker to get an appointment, but we had to drive to St. Charles. This practice has 4 doctors that come to Oakbrook, but none that do the testing.

He was eventually diagnosed with ADHD and Cheryl was very helpful with establishing a 594 plan with the school. My son is now 9 and LOVES school and has improved so much with handling his “big feelings”. He has come a long way and I am forever grateful for this place.
