Mission Statement

The Hinsdale Central High School PTO's mission is to enrich, enhance and supplement the educational experiences and environment of the students, faculty and families of Hinsdale Central and to foster a cooperative relationship between all stakeholders.

The PTO provides many and support to students, faculty and families.  From the time students transition from Middle School to the moment they register for graduation, students and their families will be enriched and enhanced through the services and events provided by the volunteer efforts of the PTO.
PTO events centered around building community and making the transition to Central an informed and exciting event:

  • Freshman Party
  • New Family Network

Programs and services provided by the PTO that provide parent support and enrichment through small group, specialized needs and community events:

PTO Committees that provide the opportunity and the resources to help those who are in need within the HCHS community:

PTO events built around students:

The PTO actively supports and acknowledges the staff and teachers of Hinsdale Central throughout the year:

  • Teacher Staff Appreciation events
  • Holiday Breakfast
  • Make a Difference Awards

Most importantly, the PTO is a conduit of information pertinent to parents, students and teachers through maintaining social media, PTO Newsletter, website and the PTO Parent Directory.

Charitable Organization:
The Hinsdale Central High School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a designated 501(c)(3) Charitable Organization under the Internal Revenue Code 2014.

Taxes:
The PTO's taxes are prepared and completed, pro bono, by Heinz & Associates of Clarendon Hills.
